Become a Word of South Sustaining Member!
Please join us in becoming a Sustaining Member of the unique cultural experience that is Word of South. This event takes place annually in the heart of beautiful Tallahassee, Cascades Park, and showcases local and national authors and musicians. A majority of the events are free to the public, and with your support, we can keep it that way!
As a Sustaining Member you will receive:
Preferred parking throughout the weekend
Access to VIP lounge
Recognition on the Word of South website
First Access to our Artist Lineup Reveal in February
When you choose your sustaining level, you will have the option to chip in additional dollars to cover the cost of the processing fee. Thank you for considering covering this cost for Word of South. With your contributions we can continue to provide high quality events, free of charge, for our community.

If you are 35 or younger, you can enjoy all the benefits of a Sustaining Member for just $100.
Super Sustaining Members:
$500

- VIP tent access for catered lunch, beverages, and snacks (wristbands for two people Saturday and Sunday, four in total)
- Invitation to thank you party/artist reveal
- Name displayed on website
- Book bundle
- Invitation to artist party Saturday evening of festival
- Access to reserved seating Saturday night show
Festival Friend Members:
$1,000
- VIP parking passes
- VIP tent access for catered lunch, beverages, and snacks (wristbands for four people Saturday and Sunday, eight in total)
- Invitation to thank you party/artist reveal
- Name displayed on website
- Book bundle
- Invitation to artist party Saturday evening of festival
- Access to reserved seating Saturday night show
- Drink vouchers for Friday night show
- Option to guest read on Literacy Lane
- Voucher for two merch items
